Working within northern landscapes and shaped by her Finnish-American background, her work spans visual identity, typography, print, pattern, and environmental communication, exploring how design can communicate histories, ecologies, and identities over time.

Across visual media, Amber translates stories into clear, enduring forms. Her work is shaped by a northern design tradition where clarity, restraint, and long-term observation guide how meaning is constructed and communicated. Through research, documentation, and visual storytelling, she creates work that helps people better understand the places they inhabit and the histories within them.

Amber holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and Public History from Northern Michigan University (2019) and works seasonally as a U.S. Park Ranger. This experience continues to shape her understanding of landscape, stewardship, communication, and design.
